airlines flight 77 left dulles airport at 8:20 in the morning. it was supposed to go to los angeles. five hijackers took over the plane, turned around and crashed it into the pentagon at 9:37:00 a.m. killing the crew of six and 53 passengers as well as the hijackers. the plane hit the pentagon at the first floor level on the western side. one section of the building collapsed. 125 people here that day were also killed, many of them civilians. defense secretary leon panetta will hold a remembrance ceremony here this morning. here is a look at some of the way that that will go today. president obama will lay a wreath. there will be the playing of the national anthem. army chief of chaplains will give the invocation. there will be a moment of silence at 9:37 a.m. there will be remark by the president and defense officials and then there will be a rendition of america the beautiful. after the president and first lady visit the pentagon memorial here, they will then head to the walter reed national naval medical crepter to visit with wounded warriors there. back to you. >> thank you. -- naval
